Atop Notre Dame de Paris

Adventure has always called my name. I have my mother to credit for my severe case of wanderlust. A French woman herself, she moved to the States to marry my father (awww). Growing up, I dreamt of seeing Paris (and Egypt, and New Zealand, and Greece, and many more) for myself, knowing in the back of my mind that I probably never would.

That all changed in the summer of 2014, when I joined my family on a three week vacation to France. We stayed with my grandparents and explored the country, three hours outside of Paris, for the first time since I was in elementary school. Then at last, I made it into the City of Light.

I’ve never fully recovered from that life-changing trip. I miss France every day. It opened my eyes to a whole new world, and brought that old passion for travel and adventure roaring back to life. It may not be easy, but I’m determined to make my travel dreams come true. There is no better time to start than now.

Rather than write endless Top 10 lists and How To posts, I prefer to share my adventures in a diary format. While my trips may be short, I love to linger over one place for weeks, breaking down my favorite spots and sharing endless photos of the incredible places I’ve seen. I love to bring my readers along for the ride, and help them to savor every stop along the way.

  1. It’s “Dashy” from MSA. I wanted to send you a private message about your travels, but did not want to leave it on Liz’s site. I would love to chat with you about traveling. 🙂

  2. This is awesome! I hope you get to travel more soon. That’s how we hope to travel full time hopefully sometime this year. It’s always been our dream but for now we will see as much of California as we can. 🙂 Happy travels!
